Edinburgh Castle

Edinburgh City Centre

When we were asked to decorate a wedding in Scotland’s most iconic landmark in the heart of Edinburgh the answer was a resounding yes! The majestic Queen Anne Room was the chosen venue for the ceremony and wedding breakfast. The Bride and Groom were looking for décor to enhance the room and silk florals good enough to look like the real thing.

Décor

Our bride wanted an elegant and classic style, with lots of florals for the ceremony room and wedding breakfast. Lovely white chiffon chair sashes were used on the aisle seats to brighten the dark chairs, but also to create a walkway for the bride and draw the eye down the room to where the couple and arch stand. Tall ghost plinths, with gold stands, and flowerballs on top, were used at the beginning and end of the aisle too to make a statement and signify a beginning and end to the aisle walk, along with white petals and LED pillar candles to further enhance the pathway created by the chair sashes. Matching arrangements were done for the signing table, top table and welcome sign bringing the theme together. Finally, the flowerballs were transferred to the guest tables as lovely centrepieces.
